The Week Ahead 3/14-3/18

Updates When students return to school on Monday, 3/14, they will have reading logs due. They will also take their vocabulary test over the words given out last week. Because the week of 3/21-3-25 is Spring Break, there will be no new vocabulary words given out. There will also be no reading logs assigned over the break. The Week Ahead 3/7-3/11

Updates There will be no reading logs due or vocabulary tests when students return on Monday, 3/7. Students should instead prepare for their inquiry presentation. There is no school on Friday, 3/11, because it is a grading day for teachers. Presentations will be given during the last hour of the day, until we get through everyone. Each student needs to be prepared to present on Monday, because we will randomly draw names to determine the order that presentations are given. Math Next week in math we will continue our study of fractions. We will be comparing fractions greater than 1, with unlike denominators. By the end of the week we will be adding mixed numbers. Our fact practice will focus on improving our speed and accuracy in dividing by 9's. Please check in with your student each day to make sure they complete their daily lesson. Science Last
